METHODOLOGY

How RockBot Research frames market information.

A plain-language description of the product’s research approach and its methodological boundaries.

Purpose

RockBot Research is designed to organize general and impersonal market-research information. Its interface emphasizes source context, timing, methodology, and limitations rather than transaction instructions.

Market context

Broad-market context may combine observable inputs such as trend, participation, volatility, credit-tone, and cross-asset information. Component availability, timestamp alignment, and stale or missing data can affect the view. A context label or index is an evidence summary, not a forecast or probability of profit.

User-selected watchlists

Watchlists are created by the user and act as a filter for research views. The same research framework is intended to apply consistently across selected symbols; the existence or order of a symbol in a watchlist is not a recommendation.

Options data

Options research may display observed fields such as volume, open interest, implied volatility, strike, expiration, spread, estimated notional, and freshness. These fields do not by themselves establish whether activity was opening or closing, bought or sold, hedged or speculative, or what motivated a participant.

SEC filing records

Insider-related views are based on public SEC filings, including Forms 4 and 4/A where applicable. Filing date, transaction date, reported fields, amendments, and issuer history are kept distinct. A reported transaction does not establish motive or predict future market behavior.

Chart geometry

Pattern tools can annotate pivots, boundaries, and geometric relationships used by a detector. Pattern names describe geometric structure; they are not price targets, expected returns, probabilities of profit, or transaction instructions.

Availability and corrections

Market and filing information can be delayed, stale, incomplete, amended, adjusted, corrected, or unavailable. RockBot Research may change methods, thresholds, providers, or presentation as the product evolves. Material methodology changes should be documented in the application or associated disclosures.
