Overview
RockBot Research is designed around a local-first approach. The current application does not require a custom RockBot user account or brokerage connection to use its core research tools.
Local information
Watchlists, preferences, reviewed-item identifiers, and similar application settings may be stored locally on the device. Removing the application or clearing application storage may remove those local records.
Network access
Internet access is used to request market information, public SEC filing records, and other data needed by enabled research views. Those upstream providers may receive ordinary network metadata such as IP address and request timing under their own policies.
Advertising and analytics
The product is designed without advertising identifiers, social integrations, or an ad-tech SDK by default. If the production application later adds analytics, crash reporting, account services, payment-related services, or other third-party SDKs, this policy should be updated before that behavior is represented as current.
Brokerage data
RockBot Research is not designed to request brokerage credentials, execute transactions, or import portfolio holdings as part of its core research experience.
